Seeing as how recently Jaune has been shown trying to cling to Pyrrha's memory, I can say this image captures that feeling of sadness and loneliness in a great way. The detail on the grass is very good (I like the "instant photography" sensation it gives), and the composition is excellent, again, letting us feel Jaune's solitude and grief. I wish the colors had more intensity, since the background looks a little washed out, and the sash lack a bit of contrast. Perhaps some warmer colors would've helped, but it can be overlooked, since the theme here is melancholy. Also, a little more detail on Jaune's design woulde have been good. All in all, a very good piece.
